9 Pattern Collection

This month the set of 9 steampunk patterns will be leaving the store in favour of the 12 pattern collection so if you've got your eye on the set of 9 patterns from the steampunk collection please purchase them before the end of May. Of course, the singular patterns and the set of 12 will remain in the store.

Woodland Series Progress

Here is a quick and tiny peek at what I've been working on lately. The additional critters in the woodland series are all drawn up and ready for printing in three different sizes. I'm going to make the largest sizes into a quilt and once they're tested they will be ready for the shop.

The woodland owl remains available for purchase now in three sizes, or if you're waiting for the whole set there will be a bundle option available once they are all released.

Note: Final patterns may not be exactly the same as these previews.

Three More Steampunk Designs

A little bit of blog silence. My apologies!! It hasn't been all quiet though... I got out my steampunk blocks and decided that 9 simply wasn't enough so I made three more.

You can find all 12 of the steampunk blocks in a new 12 pack collection which will net you a saving of $8, or you can purchase them individually.

Number 10 in the series is a partner to the steampunk cameo. The gentleman sports a top hat featuring a cog.

Pattern 11 compliments the crossed keys and features a hammer and spanner.

Lastly, pattern 12 features interlocking c-clips. If your not familiar with c-clips, they are used in conjunction with axles and gears to keep cogs in place and might be found in anything from machinery to clocks. I also like this design because of the shape made by the relief in the centre.

I haven't had any emails from anyone having difficulty downloading a pattern they have purchased. I'm assuming no emails means you've all found the site simple and easy to order through. Remember if you do have any troubles you can check the FAQ and if you get really stuck I can email you the pattern directly. So please don't be afraid to contact me if you have any troubles.

Steampunk Collection

I am very happy to announce that all 9 of the steampunk pattern series are now online in the shop, so if you have been waiting patiently while this series is completed now is your chance to get your hands on all of the patterns.

Number 8 in the series is an intricate ray gun. All those sittle curves and details seem to take forever if you are doing needle turn applique, but the overall result is worthwhile.

Pattern 9 (or pattern 1 if you'd prefer) is the cogs, or gears. This pattern has three sizes available in the download - a 5", 10" or 12" option, and you will be able to move around the gears until you have a layout you're happy with on your quilt block. A great idea for this pattern would be designing 9 or 12 blocks with slight variations and stitch them all together for a gorgeous steampunk gears quilt.

Farewell 2011!

Things have been a bit quiet with a few too many commitments taking me away from sewing. As this is still a fledgling hobby business it often has to take a back seat to other things in life.
